so i have the d15b7/z6 head... im taking it out due to a block knock.
i picked up a d15z1 for 100 bucks. im mainly wondering how would that motor work out in my 88 ef sedan with a y8 manifold and a no name header, and a crx si cable tranny 5spd.
and is it worth trying to put the z6 head on it if its alrdy in good working condition and alrdy in time as well. please, i need alot of opinions on this.

blocks don't knock.......nor does freddie.

3-4 better shut your door

lol d15z1 with all the stuff, y8 mani and nice header would be okay, dont forget to engage vtec at 3krpm i had mine set at 3400 and it doesnt make any power past 6300 it will rev past that but its pointless...

but i did get to run a 9.8 in the 1/8 mile with a d15z1 complete swap and si trans with y8 manifold and dc header in a light eh2 hatchie :)
