I'm sure this has been talked about alot lol but just got my d16z6 vitara/scat rods assembled on my block. My plan is 300-400hp... But keep getting mixed resaults on block gaurds, (just had a buddy install 1 on his y7 & had a cooling problem) so I'm a little hesitant on using 1 which I hear is a known problem.. If I was smart I would have fone the css route or sleeved the block but I like to live dangerously lol.. But any input would be awesome and much appreciated

I have one in my turbo civic. Zero issues, just make sure it's installed correctly.

Yeah the theory is there but i wouldnt do it my self. There is no real need. The block handles over 400whp already. If one want more support one should sleeve or get a css installed
