the dx tranny will give you 'better traction' because it has longer gear ratios and a higher top end, mainly for fuel economy and long top end pulls on the highway (not that you should do that).

the si and ex trannies will give you shorter gears for faster acceleration and lower top speed.

it's all about what you want the car to do. fast 1/4 mile time, or 150 mph?

but as you say would the DX be better because it well make you have more MPH and on the 1/4 mle because it will have less wheelspin and more traction??? Ohh and thanks for your help

the tranny is not going to give you better traction. for 1/4 mile, i'd say si tranny. you can upgrade your motor mounts, tires, h-brace, z-10 radius arms, etc... that will give you better traction. the si tranny may make it more difficult to get traction, but you will definately accelerate faster through the 1/4 if you do. a friend of mine has a t3 turbo a6 in his crx w/ dx tranny and it runs high 14s to low 15s with hella wheel spin due to shitty wheels/tires and broken motor mounts etc. there's a ton of things you can do to improve traction....
