·What is the best ECU for a d16z6 in a 1991 DX. I am pretty sure that I am looking for the PM6, but are there any evil variants of the PM6 from 1988-1991? Thanks.

are you changing over the harness to a multi port one? if not just use your stock ecu and use a rpm activated switch to turn on the vtec.

·your better off converting to mpfi then convert to obd1 and using a p28...as it will give you a better fuel and ign mapping while in vtec. if ur short on cash stick with the dx ecu and just run an rpm activated switch like stated above.
how about if converting to obd1 that he uses a p08 ecu? this way he doesn't have to wire in a 4 wire o2 sensor. it should run nice as well. since this ecu comes from a d15 single cam vtec engine it might even run better. since that's pretty much what he will be building anyways. i could be wrong, i'm still new at this. just been reading allot.

·I will be switching form dpfi to mpfi. I would like to keep the car OBD-0.

I swapped d16z6 in my 89 hf 
...kept it obd0 and im using a pg7 ecu from an 89 integra.....i hear its better for fuel maps :?:
