My battery is failing me and I need to replace it. I could go to walmart or autozone and just pick up another one but I would like to buy a good quality battery. I heard about diehard, but I just read a lot of negative reviews on them (not lasting more than 2 years), although sears replaces them for free. If I can afford an interstate i suppose ill go with that.
Any suggestions?

interstate has never failed me. Had one in my civic for 5 years and still turns over no problem.

i was speaking specificly of the D51 yellow top... its a turd of a batt, flawed by design

to the people who swear by optima... have you ever tried another "high performance" battery? such as Northstar, Hawker, Oddysey, or XS Power?

well idk anything about the optima's but i just double checked and it turns out that i do have an old interstate in my car. it started fine this morning so ive decided to recharge it and give it a second chance. think ill buy some new terminal wire connections and make sure those are all tight. thanks for all the response though
