Most OEM wheels sit with a close to perfect postive offset, as shown in the first diagram in this picture...

the only difference is in the width od OEM wheels. An OEM GSR wheel will not be the same width or offset as an OEM Lancer EVO X wheel.

1. go with a 195/50/15
2. I dont but you generally want to go with a tire tha isnt too low profile but is meaty enough to not look like mud/snow tires.

14 inch: 60 series
15 inch: 50 series
16 inch: 40 series

I'm sure most know this but some may not:

Tire are read as follows width/sidewall/diameter

Width: 195 is common for wheels that are 7 inches wide
Sidewall: 50 is the series of thickness/amount of tire from the road surface to the lip/rim of the wheel
Diameter: 15 is the diameter of the wheel to be fit into that tire.

^yep

"195" is the width of the contact patch in mm (25.4 mm in an inch).

"50" is the aspect ratio, a percentage of the width of the conact patch ( in this case 97.5mm ) this is your sidewall height.

"15" is the diameter of the wheel in inches.

It's pretty simple, but if it confuses you...
