I need to clean up the tapered holes in the spindles and want to use a tapered reamer.

What taper do I need to get? They seem to be 7 or 10 degrees. Anyone have a brand/model number I should look for?

a little bit of math will give you your answer.

do you have one side that doesnt need any work?

measure diameter of bottom face of hole, and measure top face. then measure the thickness of the mounting location.

will look a bit like this when you draw it out
.....______......
..../..........\....
.../.............\..
...-----------...

then you can use some traditional geometry to find the degrees and such

I can do that math bit no problem. I was being lazy and just wanted the info without having to go out to the shop and find a LCA in the spares pile.

I wouldnt ever trust a critical thing like balljoint stuff to internet knowledge. do the math and verify. if you cut the taper different than stock, that increases risk of balljoint failure. it will want to wobble in its mounting spot, either from being too narrow, or being too wide, and tightening it eventually wallows it out after time, and the balljoint gets loose
