Your fuel maps will not match very well so the performance will likely suck bad. read: very lean or richWILL my dx ecu work on a b20 motor
there is also a b20 in the older prelude, did ya'll know that?B20 is from a CRV it somes OBD2, but use a 90-91 LSdissy to make it OBD0,92-95 LSdissy to make it OBD1.
unless the ECU is chipped, it wont run very well
I don't know if the dizzy off of those motors will work. I know they don't drop in like the rest of the b seriesthere is also a b20 in the older prelude, did ya'll know that?
yea, i don't think they share very many things w/ the b16's and b18's...I don't know if the dizzy off of those motors will work. I know they don't drop in like the rest of the b series
yeah, but it sahres NOTHING with other B series, so some dont consider it a B series, theres a B21 also.there is also a b20 in the older prelude, did ya'll know that?
unless someone made it into a b20/vtecb20's are non-V-tech
It wont run right all B series engines run a knock sensor something D series engines do not.WILL my dx ecu work on a b20 motor
wrong not all B series run knock, one of the B20s from the CRV does not have a knock sensor. i dont belive B18a1s have themn eitherIt wont run right all B series engines run a knock sensor something D series engines do not.
B series use 240cc injectors the same as many D. Only 96-00 D16y7 use 190cc, you need to swap injectors.you shouldn't need the knock sensor if you're nonVTEC .. I saw an article, saying that the dx ecu was fine, even though the b uses larger injectors .. honestly, I don't see how, with the cc differences in them. I'd use a b ecu.
