That's all we got to add here?

It's not that bad, plenty of places still sell it as race fuel, and almost all the airplanes use it.


It is a much higher quality standard, keeps much longer, smells much better, burns better, and its usually under $5/gal

Why spend twice the $$$ for 2-3 octane points?

100LL is 96 octane compared to 93 octane pump gas from Shell or BP. Add some "oxygenating" compounds and sell it as 100 octane, it is called Turbo Blue, available at some pumps.

So not any benefit for power equipment. The only reason, getting away from ethanol. You will find power equipment shops and some boat gas is zero ethanol which plays HELL on power equipment and boats when it sets over the winter for example.
