I've just swaped a d15b in my sol . I'm running a p28. My ecu is throwing a code 19 ( LOCK UP CONTROL SOLENOID)
I wanted to know if that is a big deal. What this solenoid stands for ? Can i drive the car like that until i fixe it. Am i taking risk of breaking something?

The fact is that i didn't drive the car since the swap due to that CEL. Can i do it safely?

Thank you.

My car is an automatic del sol si that had a z6 before the swap and everything was working fine. Do you think that water could have cause the problem with the solenoid since i got the degreaser off? The tranny wasn't mounted on the block at that time.

"lock-up control solenoid"- Computer controlled output that actuates the lock-up torque converter. I'd check all connections and reset battery... i doubt water got in there if the tranny wasn't installed, but ya never know
