Ho much power do you need to be pushing for them to be worth while? Also what RPM is needed to see good gains. Right now I am going to be using a y8 manifold and I am guesing around 140whp to 150whp.

Properly sized ITBs (butterfly size and manifold lenght) could be beneficial almost whole RPM range, and give very sharp throttle response when properly tuned. I noticed most gains from 4...8krpm in my old D15 engine, but not significant loss either below that. Best torquey rpm range is dependent a lot more than just intake manifold. Cam and header play big role here, and they all sum up.

I'm looking for ~200bhp for my engine.
