Integra Type R?

I know the majority of the piping on these cars are 2". Just wondering about the mufflers inlet/outlet.

Looking for an oem muffler that wont bottleneck a 2.25 catback. Thanks.

Not sure on the Type S, but the Si and Type R aren't. The 06+ Si (very similar to the Type S) if the bottle neck flange is removed is.

Which part is the bottle neck flange that you're speaking about? And can anyone tell me the exact part of the muffler that needs to be modified to fit a EJ/EG?

I can't seem to find a better pic, but see the bottle neck at the flange?

Any exhaust shop should be able to modify it to work with any exhaust/chassis

Ahhhh I see it..

It tapers in and gets smaller. Pretty weird. Why would Honda do that?

Do you know the axle back a direct bolt up once I take the taper out?
its a muffler. you can put it on anything.

Just cut it off at the taper and weld it to your piping.
Add some mounts and your done.

He asked if it was bolt on, not custom weld on.

The answer is no. You will require modification.

So do the stock oem axlebacks from the 8th gen civic or rsx bolt on without modification of just the HFP?

I've heard of a guy using an RSX Type-S exhaust on his D15 and he said it flowed really well. Don't know if that's much help to you, but it might.
