Neat.

I just cut that off of an old HF manifold and had it welded on my Y8 manifold.

edit: my application was not needed on the charge pipe, but in the stock location for an A6 to Y8 manifold swap.

You make them in mild steel as well? I don't have aluminum charge piping ;)

Hmm...not at the moment but we could if there was enough demand.

The issue with doing them in steel is that moving it from the IM to a steel charge pipe with a steel flange might not give you the same effect since steel is going to hold in the heat unlike aluminum pipes.

with my ED with a Z6 IM i had really high IAT readings


i made a flange out of steel and bolted the IAT sensor to it, sandwiching aluminum charge piping between it, and the IAT readings are much lower on project lowball even 100% heat soaked.

it seals perfectly too.

just need a tap, drill, angle grinder and some 1/4" steel
