2.5" to 3" coupler welded in between would be the best bet
alright, so i have a small downpipe problem...........help please!

Well, i got my downpipe and i realized that i may just have a little problem.
the downpipe is 3" in diameter, and the blockoff flange (downpipe flange) that bolts to the turbo is ALOT smaller. i didnt measure but it only looks to be about 2.25"-2.5".
anyway here is a pic of the downpipe flange:

as you can see, the downpipe has a little flange around the end, which makes the fit that much worse. but anyways, when you line the downpipe to the downpipe flange, it covers the bolt holes that connects the flange to the turbo, so i need to find away to make the end of the pipe smaller so i can weld it to the flange without covering the bolt hole
any ideas on what the best way to do this would be?
