so i bought an aftermarket oil pump, it wasnt cheap... $70.

its not performance or anything.. but i was a bit disappointed.

i went to torque down the nuts that hold the oil pickup to the oil pump (17ft lb per helms) and the fuckers stripped right out of the pump housing!

talk about a piece of fucking trash.

stick with oem.

(prolly for the best it stripped out, save me some bearings)

Go with OEM or the Toga High volume pump. :TU: Yeah, the Toga will cost more but you get more oil pumping too.

ive heard of the ring gears breaking on the togas...

as far as i know, 88-95 oil pumps should be the same. (my aftermarket covered both)

What brand exactly was it? TopLine or some other?
Funny if Toga gears break, aren't they supposed to be stronger 4340 billet instead of cast iron in OEMs..?
