I was looking at the Crane Cams website and I found in the installation instructions that the lifters have to be replaced because the stock camshaft wears grooves into the surface of each lifter, and this affects wear and valve lift. Is this a real problem? How much are replacement lifters? I might just do it anyways and install new springs at the same time.

8) I would really like to put one of those cams in, more power.....
