Guy's, I've a D16Z6 SOHC and I need some advices about which pistons, cam, valves, valve spring and retainers to use to get more powerful and compression rate. My car's setup is:

- Intake Manifold Edelbrock Performer X
- Throttle Body Edelbrock 65mm
- Cold Air Intake AEM V2
- Header DC Sports 4x1
- Flywheel Fidanza
- Clutch Exedy Stage 2

- Ignition MSD 6AL-2 6421
- Coil MSD Blaster SS
- Distributor Power Cap MSD
- Spark Plugs Wires Accel

- Injectors RC Fuel 440cc
- Walbro Fuel Pump

I don't know what to do...:wacko:

Thre may be some OEM piostns that will bump compresion, Im not sure, somebody will chime in.

Sounds like your on the right track with the head. Dont bother with stage 1 cams. Go ahead and build the head with at least valve springs and a "real" cam.

Bisimoto cams are dyno proven to be exceptional, although there are some more cost effective options. Youre goals are going to be important when it comes to what cam you get.
I know from personal experience that crower springs are good, but yet again there are lots of options.

The best advice I can give you is to do a lot of searching on this forum, look at peoples build threads and discussions on these parts (there are lots of them).
You will find the info you are looking for.

wow that is a lot of fuel for an NA d16. you must have REALLY high hopes for your build.

nothing wrong with that... but i think u will be disappointed.
