you would hurt mor than help..........

Essentially this is not gaining power....But simplly shifting the powerband..(like a SOHC with a cam gear)

This will not help you at all..............Sorry man....

You need cam gears......

And the key is to advance the intake side and leave the exaust side alone......

and BTW 9 degrees is usually way to much on a ZC anyways........

The ZC has essentially streetable race cams in them From the factory.....

You would be amazed atr how much they are allready (advanced) so to say.......

Compare ZC cams to d16a1 Cams.......

150+ you can get a set of ITR cams from an integra i think and will work. i may know some ppl selling theirs as they upgraded to some expensive stuff.

K , ITR cams are not working in a DOHC ZC, i have seen machined heads fitting LS b series cams, but were talkin like a head thats worth 1100.00 dollars in machining alone. ur best bet is to get some JG cam gears and a reground camshaft from somewhere like delta cams, a good stage 2 will do u some good.

what would be a good average advance?
on a street car... hardly any advancing at all.........

on a race car where .001 hP or Tq can help You shave you .0000000001 second

(we used to turn the dazzy advanced as far as it would go)

On a street car.............

I am more of a feel Guy than bringing out the timimg light....

We Use the timing light to set timing OEM specs....

Than I usually just barelly advance it.....

Advancing your engine Is something You should be very carefull Of......
