Im swapping a d15b head onto a d15b2 block.

Just to clarify I should use a z6 timing belt, and I need to remove the oil jet between the 2nd and 3rd cylinders?

I still dont know how I am goi9ng to wire up vtec, any help is appreciated.

Now here is my biggest concern, I dont know what rpm I want vtec to engage at, I want it to be what the stock d15b is corfrect? I dont want to damage the block, I dont know how it would but I want to double check.

Also I dont know were to set my redline and rev limiter, I dont want to damage the head or block, and dont know what each one is at, or if you base it off the head or block.

I dont know much about hookin the vtec up..
theres many writtings I've seen all over the internet + here on d-series
but your best bet is to get an adjustable cam gear.. so you can be TDC
the d15b cam will work...
but I believe you'll be off a 1/2 tooth...
also get the timing belt for the bottom-end. which would be the b2

& if you do set a rev-limit on the stock cams...
just make it a good 7200rpm....dont tach it out..but this is a good start & a basic d-cam shaft lobe rpm's stuff...
