What is the best a/f ratio on idle for a tubocharger car???

What's the afr when its fully warmed up on idle?

Thats not horrible..I idled in that range. Some people even go leaner, but im not telling you to do that of course lol if you don't feel comfortable with it.

This isn't the end all way to set up your afrs but its a good guide

I personally shoot for:

15.5->14.5 lil or no load...light cruising, idle etc
13s on high load, low rpm
12s on high load, low vac (not quite boost...or flooring a N/A motor)
11s in boost (or 12s, depends on your timing)

Remember, your timing is more important to get right, but shouldnt be done until after you set your afrs.

i'm in the uk, so have better fuel.

But i run 16.5,
15 at light load.

14 at medium load. 0psi

13 at 2psi

11.5 at 9psi
11.4 at 9psi on vtec.

But, i think i'm on the limit apart from at full boost.

its all contingent on the variables of your setup... timing, pistons, c/r ratio, etc... on my previous setups i tuned so the higher boost portion had a richer fuel map.. below 8 lbs was 12:1 above that was in the high 11:1 range...

If you're running an appreciable amount of boost on cheap 89 ocatane stuff you should be in the low 11's. And don't forget to pull enough timing. Check your plugs often.
