Forgive me if I have this in the wrong section.

I am looking for a better flowing OEM muffler that will fit well in my 99 civic project.

I had an RSX muffler in hand, but sadly I sold it before I bought the car. I was hoping to find an OEM civic 99-00 Si (B16) muffler but I've looked for a week and turned up nothing.

The EX civic and Si Muffler I assumed were the same, but I've seen posts saying that the Si muffler has larger diameter piping. Is this true?

Checking the parts catalog at Autozone (I work there) for OEM replacements, the part number for Si and Ex are different with no crossover. Looking at the pictures, there seems to be a clear difference in the diameter of the piping as well. What do you think?

The cost is only $90. If it would bolt on and have slightly larger piping, it might be worth a try. I could probably sell my original muffler for $40 anyhow.

Also, I am trying to figure out if I would need the middle pipe or not to match.

EX:

Si:

if the si is the one with the b16 engine, it may be slightly larger.

I think I'll give it a shot. It is obviously bigger than mine (LX), I just wonder if it will bolt on to the B pipe or not. It looks like it might. Even though the stock b pipe is pretty small, the flange part looks correct from the eyeball. The RSX one was nice diameter too, but wouldn't bolt on to the hangers like this one should.
