Spun a bearing and it's time for a complete overhaul.
Going to keep this updated as I go.
Goal is daily driver streetable turbo setup
5k for engine parts
2k for rebuild trans with lsd and axles
misc 2k buffer for odds and ends
Pic of current running y7 y8 intake 421 with 240cc chipped p28 in the lx.
what I built before I spun bearing In the z6.

you got plenty of budget to do what you want, i had 3k total engine, trans, tires, ecu etc by time i went to the track.

I wish i would have gone your route.

Thought this was going to be about how he rebuilt it and it won't go above 5k... Much to my surprise it wasn't. Any plans on what parts or HP goal? Any suspension mods you plan on?

aim for 10:1 compression and 250whp if you are going to daily drive. Nothing more powerful is needed unless you feel like going for big brakes, expensive suspension, and spendy tires/rims

Yep, looks like 9K to me.

And I agree, 250hp is plenty enough to feel a real difference in a daily.
