I installed a new set of headers and a new O2 sensor because the old one was rusted on. I am getting a CEL and the code is for bad O2 sensor. But its new! I tried unplugging the battery and resetting ecu but nothing, light still comes on. Any ideas suggestions, solutions? The light on my dash is driving me crazy!!!

Thanks this is my first thread and I hope to get on here and learn new things as well as share some of my knowledge with everyone

I swapped it for another new and still same thing, any other ideas?
reset the ecu? unplug battery for a couple min. put key in and turn to on and "attempt" to start. it wont cause obviously battery is disconnected. after that plug battery back and start see if it comes back.

go under the hood
unplug ecu fuse
disconnect battery
wait 5 mins
reconnect battery
replace fuse

That's what I did for mine and it cleared it

What brand sensor you using??
