first it will depend on the year of your trans.not to hijack the thread or anything but it runs along the same lines as the OP.
ill be swapping a z6(from a 95Si) into my EF(90Si) and ill be using the EF cable tranny.
I want a new clutch, specifically the exedy organic stage 1.
so do i get the clutch for the year of the engine or the year of my tranny? exedy has 2 diff part #'s for both years so not sure which one to get, although they have the same specs. part #'s are 08801A and 08801B.
i think they come with different throw out bearings, but ive read for this swap that i should use the EF throwout bearing, is that right?
can anyone answer that?
ah damn....what years again? was it 88+ or 92+?What clutch to use with a 90-91 flywheel and 88 tranny?????
stage 2 of what brand?anyways another question about the clutch - i plan on boosting after my rebuild do you think the clutch would hold up or should i go for the stage 2 kit? it will be my DD too so i want it to be easy to drive most of the time.
