Window weld and BB's to fill the stock mounts.
D16a1? that wont even bolt into a 88-91

o rjust buy the Energy suspension mount inserts, the red ones work great, but with any upgrade you will have lots of vibration

+1 million 3M WindoWeld Super Fast Urethane FTMFW. Fuck the BB's too. Buy new mounts, tape off one side with painters tape, fill that mother with windoweld and let it sit. DO NOT TOUCH IT FOR 2 DAYS, because it's not done. It's still soft in the center. After 2 days you have homemade solid urethane mounts. If it's good enough for Dave Coleman, by God it's good enough for anybody.:) BTW you can get it at salvo or any other auto parts store. I can tell you from experience if you do this to all4 mount your engine will not move much at all. I have a 91 w/ a D16Z6. Been there done it. Urethane mounts for the price of a 5 dollar tube of urethane. One last thought if your mounts aren't in bad shape you could just fill them, but it'll give you two days of down time. FYI NAPA has the cheapest ED mounts I've seen, that's where I got mine.
ES motor mount inserts and strut rod bushings :TU:
HASport should have the race mounts that will remove your fillings......

Call/email Brian and ask.......

wait, tech support at 2:30 EST/11:30 PST.......bah, my OG is dead.
When you say the windoweld didn't work for you what do you mean. If you let it sit long enough it becomes a fixed solid uretahne insert... how can that not work?

Maybe he thinks its too ghetto?
Okay, I guess it's whatever, but the windoweld is black and it just ends up matching the new mount I'll have to post a pic. Looks like a solid urethane factory mount would look.
