they definitely got some potential once the aftermarket world stops hating on us , lol. i raced my good buddy for years the other day in his 96 hatch civic with B18B1 swap in it out of 97 teg with my 01 Si(Ex USA , D17A2) , and i beat him twice in a row. once off the line , and once roll on start. i was pretty impressed with myself , lol. and sort of made me like my car a little more.

Like the title says, on my 2001 stock LX manual, getting beyond 6k or thereabouts causes the car to go into a low power mode of sorts.
It is not a limp mode, it does not put a throttle lock or speed lock on the car, but acts more like the car suddenly gained 1500 pounds.
