my car is all wrecked and i found a 4-speed 4th gen civic for sale as a replacement. THe motor is gone in it thou. Im about sure its the DPFI and im wondering how hard it is to wire in MPFI. Will i pretty much be wiring in two more injectors into a differnt ecu. I was thinking of putting a D16a6 in it and not messing with the whole vtec thing yet. All my turbo stuff from my car should swap over too. Would this civic be the STD model, i know its a 1.5.
Does that motor have any good parts in it? Sorry to sound like a total noob but im not very familar with the sohc motors. they are asking just under 400 for the car and say it has no rust.

I drove an STD for three years...good car...VERY fuel efficient. If it has a D15B1 in it it most likely is an STD. Other indicators are, no cigarette lighter, no trunk light, no tach, DPFI...if you can post a pic, I might be able to tell you...but stock STD had the D15B1...that's a good indication...

Oh...and a very reliable car...and that's a good price...you may want to change the nmain relay though if you get it...that is a troublesome item on the STD.

Hope that helped, if I can do more let me know. :)
