it can work like that as long as the system is sealed and there is room for the extra tube length. now what about the collector? and what the heck is a d16v1 there is no such engine designation

Yes there is... D16V1 is engine from 7gen. ep2 model... 81kW stock..
The D16V1 engine

There is room for the extra tube length.. I ll make it 5cm long...
Collector? I have a 4-2-1 header, no CAT, and a japstyle dynamik exhaust.
Now, will I gain any HP with this? It will be sealed good..

what youll really gain is sound otherwise you need to mess around the ecu

I ll have a dyno run afterwards.. to see what I got from it. But it must give me extra hp.. I dont care about the sound...
just wanted to see, if this is possible.. this socalled "bypass" from a d16z6 header 2 d16v1 engine..

man, they come up will all kind of weird sub-engine designations. But you should maybe gain around 5-8 hp with all of the mods. but as previously stated, nothing will truly be accomplished until you have it tuned.
