Damn.. good info. Wish I would have known that before... any tips on what to do if you have had your car primered for a while and are going to paint soon?sleepingrex said:i wouldn't reccomend priming your car and not painting it because it has a high amount of charcoal in it (cellulose kind like in picture) and it holds in moisture, so when you go to paint it guess what, it still corrodes under the paint. If you wanted to prime it and wait until you get paint on it then i would go for a polyurethane primer. They don't hold moisture in and looks a hell of alot better. No offense to anyone by the way, i am a painter so it's just a suggestion.
