you don't have to machine the CHRA, you just need a superback rebuild kit to go superback.

to go to the 19T wheel you do need to either buy the ARD conversion 19t wheel (which has a smaller outside diameter) or machine the CHRA for the 19t wheel

My bad, you are correct. Machined CHRA for the bigger wheel. A buddy gave me an xavier superback rebuild kit but I'm gonna try and find a MHI rebuild kit instead.

Maybe port and polish the turbo ? or is'nt it any point? I also think the restriction is in the exhaust wheel. But then again the spool is better.

A lower blade count higher flow turbine would help somewhat, but it's a small housing with a small exducer bore, it's always going to be tight.
