So my motor is built and already in the car with the turbo kit installed my question is can I install the cam without degreeing it and have my tuner advance or retard accordingly? Yes I did search but didn't find a clear answer
Degree the cam to determine "straight up" then try +/- 2 degrees cam at a time making sure reset ignition timing base and timing/fuel maps as needed. Expect to spend $1000+ in dyno time doing this and better part of a day.
That or buy a set of slicks, learn to be a very consistent driver, go to the track for 25 weekends making test hits guessing at the tune and launch rpm.
Dyno will be cheaper in the long run, but not as much fun.
