I currently am running a 12lb fly... how I will be rebuilding my Y8 in the spring... and I am going to be installing a new clutch, is it worth it to get an even lighter flywheel.... like 8 lbs? maybe or should I just keep the 12lb?

how much power you going to have? the lighter flywheel will require more power to effectivly use it

keep the 12lb. The only reason I would go any lower is if you were going N/A.

I dont like my 12lb flywheel why go lighter...?

i do some stop/go driving it sux having to rev the engine up high just to move
i am running a act streetlite. i dont rev any higher taking off then anyone else with a stock flywheel. sucks to lose that little low end power, but other then that its simply fine. and that is even running a stiff clutch. i honestly dont see why people think they have to rev higher to take off with a lightened flywheel.
