Last night at the track I improve a little bit my times from 11.78 to 11.71

the first and best run:
60 fts. 1.739
1/8 7.524 at 95.385 mph
1/4 11.718 at 117.727 mph

2nd :

60 fts. 1.791
1/8 7.72 at 94.134 mph
1/4 11.974 at 116.557 mph

3rd :

60 fts. 2.101
1/8 8.215 at 93.944 mph
1/4 12.553 at 103.992 mph

this was a wierd race, cause I could´nt do a good job on the water box, then on the stage line the car jump , wtf???? I almost loose the control, but I don´t have any idea why the car jump, never happend to me, it was the first time.

4th race:
60 fts 1.995
1/8 8.814 at 88.757
1/4 13.381 at 16.166 , I let the gass off cause I was on red light

But again on this race, the car did not hook at all,

There was on the track about 80 or more cars running, and the 2 last runs, was alomost at the end of the night, then maybe the prep on the track was gone, with al that cars running.

Any comments about why the car jump???

last night the best run i could get out of my car was also a 11.7, the track was just not prepped and it was very cold. your car jumped since you hit a slick spot from water or something else on your tires or on the track.

It was scary, but at least I could improve my times.

I was 3rd place on the import nigth, my reaction time was -0.017.

Doing good. With so many cars making passes you can expect the trackl condition to get worse as the night goes on.
I know Greg, and those cars, make at least 2 runs each one, also was plenty of fast cars, some 8 and 9 seconds cars.

get drag specific suspension IE: omnipower drag,strange industries,Blox drag coilover,progress drag coilovers...


they will improve 60's like crazy.. and a good traction bar, not a ebay or non brand one with R&D

I know he has a traction bar, and I think he has a drag set-up already and a 1.7's isn't slow by any means.

yah i jsut saw but hes using skunk2 drag sleeves, which i don't like very much kyb agx, which aren't valved for drag, they are for comfort..

the way the strut is valved makes a huge diff ask rota on turbod16

gotcha, yeah his dad is on this forum alot if we are talking about the same person. Is there a shock made for drag applications, because all I see is coilovers just looking around real quick.

I´m doing about 280whp, I´ll try to get some koni yellows, or maybe omni power drags, and I´ll have to sell the skunk2 drag coilover.

you are more then 280, there is no way your trapping 119 on 280 unless you car is under 2000 ibs. i say your around 310. not only that but you have a way better set up then i do as far as parts used, and i am at 305, you have to be very close to me if not more.
