Any of you have this done? Put a 01-05 civic EX final drive into an LX tranny.
This sounds intriguing to me as well! Hopefully someone will chime in on this one.

Already replied to his question once this week.

How many threads did he start here asking the same question?

this is complicated for the amateur.

you have to change the ring gear on the differential , and swap the countershaft for the EX.
involves stripping a tranny entirely. and stripping the countershaft entirely. if your paying for labor , your better off just swapping in an Ex tranny. ive rebuilt many trannys , D , B , K , have never had an H/F series tranny apart , but they are all the same with variances. anyone has any questions ask away.
