  1. Help!?! D16z6 vitara build base map s300

    Engine Management
Well open a new P28 map, adjust your injector sizes, add the boost maps it will ask how much you want to retard per pound of boost, I think it starts at 0.75 degrees and 120% fuel increase, which is a good place to start. You will most likely be way to rich. Start learning how to tune yourself...

Get a catch can, get rid of that filter on your valve cover and put some real ventilation in it. Get rid of the black box on the back of the block and drain the catch can back in there. Talk to Greg at go-autoworks. With that removed, use the PCV bung for vacuum needs. If you have emissions...

I ran the NGK ZFR5J-11 in mine. Went down a temp range after cranking the boost up, ZFR7J-11. Gapped to about .036" or as wide as you can go with out blowing out the spark.

I would say your partially correct, there are 3-valve and 2-valve d-series for swirl before the y7 and y8. I think one of the newer hybrids civics uses a 2-valve head. I wish Honda would revisit CVCC, maybe with direct injection.

Well I finished in 14th place for the full triathlon, that is a 1/2 mile swim, 25 miles bike, and 6.3 mile run. There might have only been 14 total people taking part in the full length, but I was able to finish and that was my main goal. I would say not too bad for someone that two years ago...

Larger valves with a stock valve seat will not improve flow, it probably made less flow. Covering a hole with a bigger lid.

What I ment by different size valves is having one stock diameter intake valve and one over sized valve.

Colt Cams has their Tri-Flow cams that help promote swirl. I have thought about how this could be improved upon by using different sized valves. I wouldn't think that the exhaust valves would help much, but then again if you drain a bottle it empties faster if you swirl it.

Do you have the EG6 center dash? I could sell you my gauge mount. It is just sitting in my car now.

Eagle Specialty Products, Inc. Like drtalon123 said everyone sells them. Search "5394 Rod" eagle comes up first. Slightly different part numbers, but I would guess that they are nearly identical. Fasteners are probably the only difference.

16 psi probably when I took that photo and when it was dyno'd, which was not easy to do, or smart. Before I pulled the motor, which I still have sitting in the garage in a engine bag, I had it at about 18 psi. Piston tops look fine. TD04 is a decent turbo for a daily single cam, I have a twin...

Z6 Vitara with a TD04L off a WRX. Clearances were slightly more than Honda specs on the pistons clearance, the rest were to spec.
