I guess it won't hurt. Should be good enough. But yes, if sending the head in for port polish, plus valves, springs and cam, you can get up to 50 hp out of it. Course, it all depends on a good tune at the shop also.
Ya im going .5mm over on it so I know its round. It will help cut down on piston slap. Nothing to the head yet maybe in time. The headers is some cheap thing to hook up the turbo., Get a bigger gasket and it should help the exhaust leak. I dont think ima port my head just keep it the same maybe some springs and retainers and a cam to rev to 8k.
I hear you dude, electrical issues are the worst gremlin you can run into on a car ever. I'd rather pull my motor and trans out than have to rewire that damn car again lol. I did figure out that the combo switch was the issue with my headlights, along with one of the wires coming off that's connected to the left headlight. I fixed it today, only to find out that my lowbeam light on the left side is blown haha. Problem has been addressed and rectified now though. Now I don't have to have people coming up to me saying that one of my headlights is out anymore. Sadly, I found out that my battery is no longer strong enough to start my little motor, so now I gotta address that issue before monday.
Thanks on the valve cover but I can not take the credit it was powder coated by a local guy here in Charleston LOL. I still have my stock one tho and will one of these days have a go at it when time permits. Yea I have had a few spills on bikes but not enough to keep me off them yet LOL. I mainly just ride it to work and back these days and enjoy the good MPG. Thanks for the heads up on the tag I spaced on that one LOL ill fix go in and fix it.
