Default Which one? zc or ex/si

this is the original tranny that comes with the 88-91 sohc
motor. Would you rather keep that tranny if you had one
or get an ex tranny. Im having axle problems, cant find the
right axle for the tranny. Thinking of buying hubs of off ebay
for the dohc zc. Somebody told me there identical correct me if
im wrong.
Or i can just go out and get a whole new tranny/w axles and
there i go.

OK.....you have an 88-91 Civic with an SOHC ZC trans and you need axles? Just go pick up a set for any 5-speed 88-91 Civic. I believe only the DOHC ZC has/needs different axles because they have different splines and a mid-shaft and equal-length axles.

no neither the si or the hf axle works in my tranny. It sorta goes it but doesnt sit in right. Then it get hella stuff. If it goes in completly it just spines freely, and doesnt
work right.
