Actually i was kinda wondering the same thing. I have been told that CX and EX trannies have the same gear ratio with a different final drive, and i have a good cx tranny, and a shot ex tranny so i was thinking about swapping final drives?? any ideas.

Damn that Y8 tranny is kickass. Looks like I have the one with the 3.722 FD. I'll have to see how I like it once I'm done with the turbo kit, I have a gear-set from a coupe I can always swap in that's 4.058. Anything is better than my last 95CX with the 3.25, thing did 90mph in 2nd gear with the chipped ECU.
