Default WTB: civic EL d14 tranny

anyone know where in the world i can order/buy an (EL) d14 civic manual transmission. i live in california and i have a 92 vx hatch. thanks

does it have the short gearing and the same final drive as the 1.4?

I don't even know what the gearing on the 1.4 is to start with. I can't imagine it's much shorter anyway. You could also get a ZC tranny and have a Si final drive swapped in. I believe that's the simplest way to a really tight gearbox.

Where's Bone to correct how right or wrong I am?

try looking where you engine was imported from..........

EX/Si tranny is gonna be the shortest geared factory tranny.

screw that just get a JDM trans out of a D15B vtec and if you look hard enough you might find one with a factory issue LSD.
