Default Ex to Si tranny?

I know i should already know this but i just wana make sure, can a d16z6 si tranny be swapped into a 99ex, i found a good deal on one, but i also wana make sure its the real deal, so what code would i look for to verify this?

Yeh both are hydraulic, I had a 92-DX tranny in a 98 sedan bolted to a D16y7, So it will work......

It'll work the code is B000 on the tranny case.

well it turns out its a s20 p20/b000, will any modification be needed to make this work, or will all my y8 parts make it work
