Default Plastic on clutch disc

Was putting a new tranny and comp clutch stg 1.5 in my car the other day and noticed part of the disc had plastic tabs where the stock had metal. It’s in the car and seems fine now, just wondering if you guys know if it has any effect on how long it will last/abuse it will take?
I know a clutch gets hot but don’t know how hot, just weird seeing plastic on a clutch disc. I attached a google pic of the disc, the 4 white tabs between the spring and the shaft hole are plastic.
