Default is this needed on the tranny?



this my friends is that ugly little weight thing that is on the arm thing, damn it whats it called, (after searching in chilton's manual) the release arm!

is this thing REALLY necessary? i mean damn! it sooo ugly!

and my old B-series never had one of these... so, do i really need this thing?

I dunno what purpose the flimsy rubber thing serves.. I always thought it made my clutch release arm look ugly, but its not pretty in the first place.. so this info is totally useless just wanted to vent.

looks to be off right now i guess if it isnt messin up with it off go for it weight reduction (sorry for the smart azz answer im just bored)

yeah it is off, thats because the tranny is also off the motor, oh and the motor is off the car too, and oh yeah the car is off the ground too

sounds like someone has a project a lot bigger the mine. im sure someone will answer. if not try transzex smartest guy when it comes to trans i know of
