Default auto tranny shifting

I was wondering how I can make my transmission shift like butter if there is a way. Did it ever shift smooth when it was brand new?

So you're telling me when it was brand new it shifted smooth? I just did a drain and refill roughly 10k miles ago. Could I run synthetic?

lmao- i dont think they do shift smooth... lol- at least mine doesnt... jerks like crazy between shifts... with the turbo its nice though... cause its pulls like crazy on the top end and when it shifts it just keeps pulling like crazy...- instead of slow near redline then shifting into a good spot on the powerband and jerking...- thats what mine did N/A...

well I just found out that the "hard" shifting is normal for the tranny. hard = good slipping = bad
