Default Hybrid Si cable tranny question

I have a CRX w/ SOHC VTEC, and Im using the 89-91 Si tranny for my car, which is supposed to be the best for my setup without doing a costly conversion to the 92-95 EX hydro tranny. But I was wondering how many of us have used and/or are using the Si cable tranny with the ZC 1-4th gear and Si final drive, and how you like it, and what motor and clutch/flywheel youre using it with. There was a company called effinmotorworks that was doing this, but for some reason they quit

unless your into road racing, the Z6 doesn't need the close ratio setup.

I tried it 5+ years right after my Z6 swap.

But I was running 20" slicks as always at the track.

Z6 with stock EX tranny went 15.02, in my quest for 14's I swapped in my first close ratio box, went 15.02 again, but .5 mph faster trap speed.

Was it fun on the street?????????????

HOLY SHIT it was a blast!!!!!!!!!!

What I've wanted to do (esp after talking with effin) is to buy ZC trannys, pull the 3-4-5 gearsets, swap in standard DX/Si 3-4-5 and then install a 40mm diff, like a OBX LSD. The 3.889 FD would be pretty good for a turboed car. This gets away from the equal length axles on the oddball inner joints.
