What year car?
What is the idle with clutch out?
Which pressure plate?
Which flywheel?

the car is a 96 hatch, the idle is about 1400 rpm depending on how warm the engine is, it does it at all times. the pressure plate is an exedy stage 2, and the flywheel is stock

also z6 motor

Doesnt sound right to me... well i guess that obvious. If you put in the clutch, the engine should have less of a load on it, making it speed up if anything. So obviously something is wrong with the clutch/tranny, cause something is slowing it down. If i had to guess i'd say something is wrong with either the pressure plate or the throwout bearing. Have you had any problems with the transmission shifting or anything?
