Exclamation help on z6 fork in a Y8 tranny

hey everyone well i broke my clutch fork in my Y8 trans and i have a z6 clutch fork here, i know there different.

I was wondering if it will work in the y8 trans? It looks like it will work but im not sure how it will react ones everything is back together

just test fit the fork in the tranny and lube up the input shaft and throwout bearing. test and see when you push on the outside casing piece of the fork and see if the throwout moves freely. if it does, then it should be fine.

pretty sure the parts are the same.

there the same part number but the clip mounts differently
