Default Filing every other syncro tooth

I know quite a few older guys that told me they used to do it back in the old days.

Could this give similar results to dog engagement on these cars?

Any ideas on this? I know quite a few guys on here do a lot with transmissions.

I have quite a few extra trans parts that I might be willing to try this if anyone thinks that it could be worth while. Wonder what I should do with the teeth that are left? sharpen them? or round them?

Could be a waste of time, but maybe not..

No help.

Old brass was full floating, Honda brass only move 1/2 tooth either way, no gains.

Now in theory if you were to remove 1/2 the teeth from the slider and then the same on the gear, it might help. But those same teeth transmit ALL the power and likely to break.

That works on the old Porsche gearboxes to some degree, but like Bone said not on our more modern designs.
