Default E.g. front K member

Is there a difference in the front K member on the E.g. civics ? If it was an auto or manual? Hatch or 4 door?

I got my car from a buddy and I noticed there was a 1/2 hole cut in the k member on one side and not the other. Structurally it's solid it's far enough back it's not where there could possibly be any kind of of metal fatigue or anyting. But when I switch the front lower control arms I figured out why that hole was cut. Whoever had the car before me broke the threaded nut on the inside of the K member loose, so they had to slip a wrench up in there to tighten it down. Major pain I must say. I got the front suspension back on and torqued correctly. But was thinking of going to the junkyard and getting a spare k member. Next time I do any suspension change and I am already going to be taking it apart I want to switch out the screwed up one.

So while in the junk yard does anybody know if the k member are all the same or are they different?

My car is a 1992 dx hatch 5 speed.....

Thanks for the help...

Davey

you mean the subframe?

a quick google search gave me this

https://www.d-series.org/forums/suspe...atability.html

"Front Sub-frame
The 92-95 Civic and 94-00 Integra front sub-frames are compatible with one another, but there seems to be a difference between sub-frames the manual steering and power steering equipped cars …I have not been able to confirm or deny this yet"

http://civic-eg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21023
"The power rack and manual rack mounts and subframes are completely different. I had to find out the hard way, any way heres a comparison of the the two mounts."
