Default Tricks to remove rear spindle from trailing arm

Just what the title says.

We need to swap rear spindles from one trailing arm to another. What's the trick to get the torx head bolts out? They are wicked tight and lock-tighted in.

We already broke a torx bit banging away with a 1/2" impact driver. I'm leaning to grinding the heads off the bolts with a carbide bit since the bolts are really hard and don't want to drill easily.

not sure i have only done it with a ratchet in the junkyard. used an 8 inch ratchet and a 18 inch pipe and they came right out.

Maybe a big cheater bar will be better than an air impact. Those torx bits seem to be a bit fragile.

Thanks for the help.

We f*@ked up the right side trailing arm playing with some suspension fabrication ideas.

These are getting hard to find in the pick-a-parts places. We have some of the drum brake versions, hence the swapping. We'll give it some more effort and then decide on the money/time equation.
