Post EG tein 1st gen basic coil overs cant go lower?

Hi ive got a tein basic coilover setup for my EG hatchback. I cant seem to make it go lower. it seems to be all the way to the last thread of adjustment. ive also got like a extended top hat due to no oem mountings/

i got this setup like for a year already. i took off and lubed the bushings a couple of times due to squeaky noises. it seemed to stop the noise.
ive also removed the plastic that covers the rubber bump stop. that worked.
but managed to still keep the bumpstop inside there.

im using like 14 inch hx rims on it right now and its fully bottomed out.
adjusted. ive got like the bump stops still inside the coilovers.

i want to know if i remove the bumpstops will i bottom out go lower?
is it safe? for the shock etc? i just want to go like an inch lower at least.
i also have extended top hats in there now.

will removing bumpstops go lower?

Don't remove the bump stops. Look into drop forks, possibly ef ones.
